The 3 series BMW looks WAY better than the A4 and Michel agrees with me here… The performance, looks, and the drive of the BMW is much much better if you’re comparing both German manufacturers… M3 > RS4

And even the Porsche 997 Turbo > R8. Whatever Audi you pick, it’s rivals beat it always… Audi has made a great improvement with no doubt. Want more ? Interior Comparision ? Infiniti G37 S > TT. There’s much more and more to say… Including Audi’s biggest failure which is the Q7… It’s a shit SAV that everybody here knows about. It’s one of the cars that you’ll hate driving.

Sorry for this long thread knowing that Pierre won’t get convinced from me :P. Not now and not in a million years :P. He has his opinion and I have mine… Both are based on perspectives we believe in… 5ayye Pierre ! :D.

-In every category, BMW is superior to Audi in my opinion . The only car from Audi that i would take is this RS4 Babe blue that i really like .
I guess you were talking about the A4 and the 3series. Man honestly, i didn’t like how the A4 drives, it’s dull and boring, on the other hand the 3series is more fun to drive and it is more rewarding, any car enthusiast will notice that.

@ el khoury in the SAFE word i meant that for old ppl or the one not interested in power sliding they will find 4WD much better than RWD , because it’s harder to keep a RWD on road,after an unexpected sliding, rather than a AWD.

and PIERRE can u tell us what ABDO FEGHALY told u about the performance,grip and STABILITY of the new M3 ??

I want some things to get straight concerning AWD/RWD subject coz i think you guys got me wrong when i talk about AWD . Don’t get me wrong, AWD isn’t a bad thing, in the majority of the factory cars, an AWD car under acceleration in a corner will be much more neutral then a RWD car. It’s very nice for a street car, and it makes the power much more managable, but a RWD car with the correct suspension setup, along with larger tires sized on the rear that match the same slip angles on the front can just as easily put down as much power as an AWD car, with less weight and drivetrain drag, and much more flexibility with the front suspension. That’s why pure track cars will be better off as RWD, at least those that are planning on racing on tracks that has tighter turns.

I will give you also the example of the Porsche 911 . To my knowledge Porsche has been oversizing the rear tires of the 911 on RWD models for just that reason. The GT3 will not necessarily always be better then the Turbo (which is AWD), because they are different designs and are built for different purposes. On a more open, road type course the AWD Turbo will handle the irregularities of the road better and it’s weight difference will matter less. On a tighter, circuit type course, the GT3 will have all the grip it needs,it is lighter, and will make much better transitions because it’s RWD. A good driver will also be better with the GT3, as the rear wheel drive allows a better control of the rear end once you get used to it.

Supercars that get driven more on the street are usually better off AWD, so the owner has less of a chance of massive oversteeer and an inexperienced driver killing themselves. Cars designed for track use like the GT3 are better off RWD, for the reasons i listed earlier.

The AWD has it’s upsides, and they would beat most RWD cars on an awful street roads or in a bad weather, but you’ll never see a AWD car on a circuit race that can catch a similar RWD car.

But RWD cars are always the more FUN cars to drive. Always.

So ya Pierro , get a clear vision towards all makes and drivelines.

& for what u mentionned earlier u’re right about it!! but just wanna mention that the AWD R8 has a better gripping on corners that the CARRERA 4S or any 911 has! cuz after i watched the 5th gear video i realised that the tail of the PORSCHE isn’t as much stable as an R8 cuz the engine is at the rear! so u got most of the weight at the end of the 911 w tiza betzett deghre so this is the advantage of the R8 on the PORSCHES! but the R8 is mid-engined & it’s too stable on the corners! GEORGES knows what i’m talking about cuz we watched the episode together!

one last thing, akid i’ll never see AWD circuit cars wa2ella makeno el AUDI 3emlo siyaratoun RWD bil DTM! nwy i mentionned everything u said about the right suspension w hole el osas! michen hek bya3emlo el cars RWD cuz they are better for racing on a circuit but on the other side they modify the body by adding a spoiler & some bumpers to let the downforce keep the stability of the car & modifications in the suspension kit & lowering the car & a lot of these stuff! & what i said that AWD cars doesn’t need all these modifications as RWD cars do!! surely the need some mod. but mech add el RWD!

About the Mercedes-Benz, I actually hated the new SLK 55 AMG… I prefer the SLR much more… Btw, I was reading and I found out that you can close/open the soft top of an SLR Roadster while doing 120 mph… Shit thats amazing !

the CAYMAN S is awesome & it’s mid-engined too…

& for the GT-R it is an AWD car! the RS4 got around 60 to 70% of the power to the rear wheels! not sure about the percentage!
