  3. Yea , i saw this car too , it has a V12 TDI engine , 500 bhp , 1000Nm/1750 RPM ! uff , it’s a Torque monster … acceleration from 0 to 60mph in 4 sec , and top speed of >300 …. these are it’s performance figures , if you want any more infos about it just ask.

    I think it would cost a fortune … btw i don’t see why the R8 cost 240K $ .I mean a Porsche Turbo , which is a better car , costs 40K $ less ! too expensive

  5. I spotted the same Audi R8 ( bass bil nomra el tajribeyeh ) @ Lina’s. Took pictures as well … It has a nice profile. The owner of this car owns Lina’s. His name is Mustafa. You can go over there @ night and check it Pierre . Anyway it’s nice car + it took the best sports car of 2007 on Top Gear … :D.

    I’d still never buy one though 😛 …

  6. By the way the V12 version of this car has an acceleration of 0-60 mph in 4 seconds ? Ferraris & Porsches have done that with a V6 twin turbo and a V8 …

  10. @ ZO…dude!! yeah in 4 Seconds & that’s great!!! u know why?? it’s a TDI version!! ya3ne it has a DIESEL ENGINE!! it will surely be slower than the FUEL ENGINE!! so 4 secs are just great!! ahaa

    @ EL KHOURY…yeah we do man!! but here the prices are F***** up with the taxes & specially the customs!! so there’s too many people that don’t prefer to buy an R8 just cuz it costs 240K!! & saying that it shouldn’t be at this price!! knowing that it cost around 100K in the US!! so we cannot compare cars prices here!! do not forget about the EURO!!

    where I live I’ve just seen one R8 from abroad… :s

    but I’ve already see two slr – grey and black -, gt3 Rs (the same that on exoleb), aston martins, ferraris, a lamborghini superleggera,… but now in France/Europe(you maybe know) there will have a “taxe” (one more) for the cars which “pollute too much”… (I mean if you buy now a F430 you’ll have to add +2600 ?¢‚Äö¬¨ to the basic price of the car) so.. I guess in France: I’ll keep my golf 1.6 for a long time 😀

Why is it more expensive than the 911 Turbo , GT3 etc .. ? what is so special about this R8? power? i don’t think so .. you may say QUATTRO bla , but the Turbo is also AWD .Exterior ? it has the exotic looks , and it is beautiful , but that’s it. I would definetly buy a 911 over the R8 .

    Besides , why discuss the foreign Prices ? yea here we have Taxes etc … but we are buying cars from Lebanon , so discussing foreign Prices is just Pointless .

  18. I’m not an expert in this domain but You (lebanese dwellers) can’t complain of the “TAXES” for the cars… of course and you’re right in lebanon taxes are very weighty ! I don’t say the contrary !
    but on the other hand in Lebanon when you work and earn 100$ it’s 100$ in the pocket !! 😀

    I guess we can’t compare the prices between the european market and ours..

L R8 manna aghla men l 997 Turbo ?!! man are u dreaming or something or you just want to defend Audi even if it’s wrong ? man 7atta in U.S ,on ebay i found many R8’s that cost more than 170 000$ , while the 997 Turbo cost between 150k and 160k $ …. even here the R8 is more expensive …. so kif “bel 3aks tamem” ?
